Mrs. Alma Peters Falcone, 74, of North Augusta, South Carolina, entered into rest at her home, surrounded by her family on Friday February 3, 2023. She was born in Washington D.C. on February 15, 1948 to John and Marian Peters. At a young age, her family moved to Richmond, Virginia where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Hermitage High School. Alma attended James Madison University and graduated from the University of Virginia where she met Dan, her husband of 51 years. She started a career in nursing and worked until her first child (Danielle) was born. At that point, she became a full time mom and her life revolved around her family.
Alma enjoyed reading, golf, traveling, playing cards with friends, and was an avid shopper. She loved vacations with family and friends, with countless trips to the mountains as well as the beaches of the Carolinas. She always loved dogs, having dogs throughout her life, including her beloved Duchess. She volunteered at a local animal rescue center and was an advocate of humane treatment to dogs. She loved raising her children. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marian Peters. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Falcone; son, Adam (Katie) Falcone; daughter, Danielle (Matthew) Lawn; brother, J. Craig Peters; grandchildren, Kevin Falcone, Allison Falcone, Morgan Lawn, Zachary Lawn; niece, Katie Finley; nephew, Sean Peters.
