Anthony William Hopper

Mr. Anthony William Hopper, age 55, entered into rest on Friday January 29, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

He is survived by his mother, Connie J. (Rawlins) Hopper; brothers, Gary Hopper, Timothy (Diane) Hopper; sisters, Pamela Chisholm, Theresa Parks, Rebecca Young; thirteen nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a graduate of ITT Technical Institute with a bachelor degree in Automated Manufacturing Technology and an Associates of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering. He was employed at Bridgestone for 16+ years as a machine technician. 

He served in United States Army, with the 101st Airborne division, SP4. He was stationed in Germany.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, learning to sail and was building his own boat. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nephew and nieces. 

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and big ol’ heart that few truly possess. We hold tight to the knowledge that in Heaven he breathes strong and is healed from all sickness

He is preceded in death by his father, William C. Hopper.

Donations may be made in his honor to the Children’s Hospital of Augusta Georgia.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be announced at a later date.
