Betty Louise Preston

Betty Louise Piper Preston, age 85, beloved wife of Jimmie Preston, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 17th, 2017. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Amy Marie Preston; and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Cleveland and Lizzie Bell Franklin Piper. Mrs. Preston was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. She also worked 42 years for Aiken County Public Schools in the cafeteria of J. D. Lever Elementary School. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she impacted in the 85 precious years that God gave her on this earth. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 11 o’clock am at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Chris Masters and Rev. Alan Quarles officiating. The interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers include; Archie Barkley, Vernon Carter, Steve Ergle, James Odom, Jack Wilson, and Allen Vickert. Napier Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with these arrangements.
