BONNETTE-Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 8, 2010, Mr. Blanchard Earl Bonnette, age 89, of Warrenville, S. C., husband of the late Minnie Kneece Bonnette and son of the late Cohen L. Bonnette and the late Annie Bonnette Bonnette. He is survived by a daughter, Kay Frances Livingston and her husband, Murray of Warrenville, S. C., a brother, Elmer Bonnette and his wife, Ginger of Hartsville, Ga.; a sister, Vivian Selfridge of Clearwater, S. C.; four grandchildren, Wallace Williams, Tim Williams, Tocha Williams and Marcellea Britt-Holley; fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S. C. He was retired from the Woodhead Division of Graniteville Company. He was a US Army Veteran having proudly served his country during World War II. Up until his failing health, he was a dedicated member of Spring Branch Baptist Church in Windsor, S. C., where he served as a deacon and in any other capacity where needed. He was a strong, simple Christian man, who was very loving and caring about his fellowman. He will surely be missed by his family and friends, but life for Mr. Bonnette has not ended, just only begun in a better land with no more pain or sorrow. Yes, Heaven is sweeter with him there. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. The pallbearers will be Wallace C. Williams, Tim Williams, Marty Britt, Mack Britt, Jim Ravenscroft, James Barnette and Tim Odom. The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S. C. 29829.
