Carl Leslie Lybrand

Carl Leslie Lybrand, age 69, of Aiken, S.C. loving husband for 50 years to Linda Adams Lybrand and son of the late Carl Lybrand, Sr. and the late Jewel Pardue Hair, entered into eternal rest at University Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jason (Meghann) Lybrand; a daughter, Stacey (Kevin) VanderWarf; a brother, Wayne C. Lybrand; grandchildren, Haley (Brian) Roberts, Jordan VanderWarf, Katelyn Lybrand, Frazier Lybrand and Lander Lybrand and a great grandson, Cole Saunders. He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He loved his Lord and his family with all his heart, and they in turn loved him.  He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge.  He was also a big Clemson Fan. His hobbies included traveling, dancing, fishing and hunting. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor which yielded him many friends. Yes, a man of his caliber shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 69 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. A service, celebrating his life, will be held at The Lighthouse Baptist Church in Aiken, S. C. on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Marion Britton and Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
