Carol G. Brantley

Ms. Carol Brantley, 79, entered into rest on Thursday February 1, 2024.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Graniteville and member of Graniteville First Baptist Church. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at an early age. She loved her Lord, her family, and visits with her grandchildren. She worked for Graniteville Company for over 30 years. When she retired, she provided home caregiver services for many elderly friends. She was beautiful inside and out and never met a stranger. She played piano by ear beautifully and had a lovely voice. She will be remembered for her sweet smile, charming personality, and generous heart. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Darius and Ruth Brantley; and brother, Tracy (Shirley) Brown.

She is survived by her children, Dana Watkins, Julie (Ken) Harris, Tracie Hiers, Alex Greer; brother, Tommy (Carolyn) Brantley; partner, Benny Hydrick; son-in-law, Don Watkins; grandchildren, Erin (Joey) Rader, Brandon Watkins, Brett Watkins, Elizabeth (Zachary) Moulton, Sarah (Jeffrey) Lanier, Daniel Hiers, Adam Good, Landon Greer; and great grandchildren, Ansleigh and Elena Rader, Noah and Ethan Moulton; and Aubree Lanier.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held at Graniteville First Baptist Church on Sunday February 4, 2024 at 4 P.M. with nephew Todd Brantley and friend Charles Hilton to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be, Brandon Watkins, Brett Watkins, Jeffrey Lanier, Zachary Moulton, Adam Good, Landon Greer, and Tim Brantley.
