Cathy C. Dooley, age 71, entered into rest on Monday March 18, 2024 at her residence in Aiken, SC.
She is survived by her children, Amanda (Shawn) Rhoades, Jeremy Curtis, Jason Curtis; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Wootton, Megann Curtis, Dylan (Madison) Curtis, Jewel Curtis (Donovan White), Dalton Leonard, Michala Leonard (Kayla Hicks), Caitlin Leonard, Cooper Rhoades, Cynamon Curtis, Hunter Curtis, Lauren Curtis; great grandchildren, Andy Langford, Noah Wootton, Addy Wootton, Parker Curtis, London Curtis, Layla White, Adalia Cook; siblings, Clifton (Lynn) Chapman, Larry (Pam) Chapman, Debra Eubanks; sister in law, Linda Williamson; and close family friends, Jessica Cain, Joan Posey, Gloria Jean Gardner and Katy Richardson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Dooley; and parents, Frank and Jewel P. Chapman.
Ms. Dooley worked in line production for Hubbell Power Systems in Aiken. She attended the Warrenville Revival Center and St. John United Methodist Church in Graniteville. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A graveside service honoring her life will be held on Sunday March 24, 2024 at 3pm at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. The interment to follow. The family will greet friends at the graveside prior to the service.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rebecca and Wendy of Gentiva Hospice for their special care of Ms. Dooley and the family, during her final days.
