Charles H. Baynham

BAYNHAM-Charles H. Baynham, age 72, of Aiken, S.C., son of the late Alvin H. “Major” Baynham and the late Ruby R. Baynham, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. He is survived by sons, Michael (Julie) Baynham of Aiken, S.C. and Stephen D. Baynham of Edgefield, S.C.; sisters, JoAnn (Glen) Davis and Cathy (Larry) Willing both of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Buddy (Thelma) Baynham of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Brittany (Josh) Holtsizer, Jacob Baynham, BryAnna Baynham and Balyn Baynham. He was born in Panama City, Florida but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, S.C. During his working years, he owned and ran his own Carpet Shop. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of The Vale Hunting Club and also enjoyed going fishing. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren with all his heart, and his family equally loved him. He has now left his family’s side to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and many friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening, October 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Chris Brown and Rev. Glen Davis officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park in Aiken, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Brian, Robert and Ben Baynham, Troy Willing, Bruce Willing and Monroe Coffey. Keith Herron and Albert Jordan will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 620 Martintowne Rd., North Augusta, S.C. 29841 or to Harvest Baptist Church, 1795 Reynolds Pond Rd., Aiken, S.C. 29805.
