Danny Lamar Greene, age 54 , of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 35 years to Julie Scott Greene, and son of Annette Evans Garrett and the late Marvin H. Green, entered into rest at his residence on Saturday, January 7, 2017. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons; Jordin Greene, Dustin Green, Cory Greene and Scott Green; a sister, Tammy Bowers; brothers, Mickey E. Green, Timmy W. Green and John Henry Green and three grandchildren. He was preceded in the death by a brother, Ricky Green. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a member of Sweetwater Church of God. He was a welder/industrial electrician by trade. He loved his family with all his heart, and they in turn, loved him. His hobbies included digging for artifacts and metal detecting. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother and friend. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 54 years that God granted him in this earth; however, he shall live on in the hearts of his loved ones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, January 12th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Phillip Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Scott Green, Dustin Green, Cory Greene, Jordin Greene, Timothy Green and John Green.
