Danny Wyatt Martin

Mr. Danny Wyatt Martin, age 53, most commonly known as “Moped Danny”, passed away on Sunday February 6, 2022 doing what he loved to do, riding his moped.

He is survived by his sisters, Wanda Moseley, Terri Sanders, Deborah Weber; and brothers, Brian Fields, and Kevin Fields.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Eugene Martin and Brenda Loretta Fields.

Danny was often referred to as an “Icon” or a “Legend” in the Horsecreek Valley area. He loved riding his moped, cutting people's grass, he loved animals and just loved people. You could find him most any day riding down Highway 421 with a smile on his face. Danny will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday February 11, 2022 at the Langley Church of God in Graniteville, at 3pm, with Rev. Cecil Goff officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm the day of the service at the church.
