David Manuel

WARRENVILLE, S. C.-David S. Manuel, age 71, loving husband for 25 years to Mary Burdette Manuel and son of the late Lucius Manuel and the late Isabelle Blume Manual, entered into eternal peace at his residence on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, James Boone and his fiancée Rene Vaughn of Westminster, S.C.; a daughter, Lisa Hammett of Gloverville, S.C.; a grandson, Justin Hammett and a granddaughter, Ashton Hammett and his beloved cats, Daisy and Peepers. He was preceded in death by brothers, Olin and James Manuel and a sister, Edna Bell Scoggins. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He retired from the Gregg Dye Plant Division of Graniteville Company after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His family stated that he loved being with his friends and going to the Flea Market. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 71 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A service, celebrating his live, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Robert Boone officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S. C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening, October 12th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
