Diane Mary Greenfield

April 30, 1955 — August 28, 2023

Graniteville

Mrs. Diane Mary Greenfield, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, during the morning of Monday August 28, 2023.

Born on April 30th, 1955, to Eugene and Claire Vincent in Massachusetts, she lived the first 50 years of her life there until she retired to South Carolina with her “honey babe” Dwight Greenfield, husband of 36 years, most affectionately known as “GREENFIELD!!”. She enjoyed watching her soaps, playing bingo, growing her own yellow beans, and cheering for NASCAR racers Bill, and then Chase Elliot.

She was unapologetically herself and still loved by her family that was her whole world. Her baby sister and best friend Loretta Small and her boys that she loved like her own. Her brother Michael and his entire large and loving family. Her children Holly Paige, James, and two stepsons Gene (and Kim) and Tracy. She spent more than half of her life as a fun and devoted grandmother, leaving 6 granddaughters. Paige (and Robert), Terri (and Clif), Stevie, Claire, Heather (and Steven), and Haylee (and Timothy). And though she didn’t have the opportunity to spoil them as much, she was so very proud to be the great grandmother to Vincent, Theodore, Miles, Piper, Parker, and soon to come Margot Paige. She will be missed, but her memory will be kept alive by those she loved the most.

Services for Mrs. Greenfield are private.
