Edgar "Eddie" Rearden

Mr. Edgar Craig "Eddie" Rearden, age 60, entered into rest on Monday December 11, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tonya Cooper Rearden; sons, Scotty Craig Rearden, Patrick Edgar Rearden, Christopher Kyle Rearden, William David Beasley, David Carlin; daughter, Crystal Marie Harkins; beloved mother, Dolly Marie Craig Rearden; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Janet Scoggins; and a special cousin, Joey Keenan.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar William "Billy" Rearden; and sister, Pamela Marie Fredrick.

Mr. Rearden worked for Maxim Crane in Columbia, SC and was a member of the IUOE Local 470. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and especially loved finding arrowheads. He will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Saturday December 16, 2023 at 2pm at Langley Church of God with Pastor Edward Hardee and Rev. Eder Herrera officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening December 15, 2023 from 6-8pm at Langley Church of God.

Pallbearers will be: Andrew Lynn Cooper, James Roy Toole, Kayven Rearden, A.J. Harkins, James Dean Armstrong, Avery Atkinson and Devin Brian Cooper.
