Edward Baughman

BAUGHMAN-Edward Baughman, age 66, of Trenton, S.C., loving son of Jessie Mae and Joe “Nuddy” Hancock of Vaucluse, S.C. and the late William Baughman, Sr., entered into rest on Friday, November 13, 2015. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sons, Matthew Baughman of Nicholls, Ga., Edward Jess Baughman of Lyons, Ga. and Jim Mathis of Trenton, S.C.; daughters, Crystal Gail Baughman of Hilton Head, S.C. and Judy Ann Edwards of Lyons, Ga.; sisters, Ivonia Wright of Macon, Ga., Ida Jackson of Trenton, S.C., Robin Baughman of Lake Murray, S.C. and Betty Ann Seeby of Trenton, S.C.; brothers, William Baughman and Bennie Baughman both of Warrenville, S.C.; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Pittman Baughman, a daughter, Tina Marie Baughman and a sister, Linda Baughman. He was born in Trenton, S.C. In years past, he worked as a logger for Mr. Ralph Cato. His family stated that he loved to hunt, especially rabbits, and he also enjoyed fishing on the river. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a very friendly person, and he loved everybody. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 66 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. He has made that great transition to his new Heavenly home, where all is joy and peace and no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, November 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life, will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Trenton, S.C. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 with Pastor Billy Gillian officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Roy Jackson, James Wright, Kyle Jackson, Keith Gray, Matt Baughman and Richard Gray. Adam Jackson will service as a Honorary Pallbearer.
