Mr. Elzie H. Peals, age 81, of Aiken, SC, devoted husband to Marilyn Drawdy Peals, received his rich welcome in heaven on Friday, January 26th, 2018. Elzie retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass in 1991 after a 30-year career. He was an active and faithful servant of Millbrook Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children; Felicia (Mike) McAlpin, Tonya (Scott) Shipes, Lea (Don) Carter; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren five sisters and two brothers. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Wills Carter, one sister, five brothers and his parents. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 2:00pm at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Pope officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm in the worship center prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Central Hope Center or My Fathers House Ministry. The family would like to thank Karen Falcon, R.N. for her dedication and care over the past several months.
