Fannie Lee Arender Turner

December 31, 1969 — April 10, 2016

TURNER-Fannie Lee Arender Turner, age 94, of Aiken, S.C., wife of the late Hudson H. Turner and daughter of the late John and Sallie Mae Arender, entered into rest on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She is survived by sons, Robert Turner of Vaucluse, S.C. and Chester Turner of Florida; a special granddaughter and caregiver, who she lived with, Brenda Daniels; eleven other grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and twenty-one great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie Grice and a son, Troy Turner. She was born in Saluda, S.C. but has been a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Graniteville Company with forty years of dedicated service. She was of the Baptist Faith. Her family stated that she was an awesome and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family with all her heart. Death is not the end, as it cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. There is a consolation for her family in knowing that they can one day she her again. Heaven is sweeter with her there. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” A service, celebrating her life and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Rick Boland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Jeff Gantt, Johnny Turner, Jeremy Turner, Travis Turner and David White. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset the cost of the funeral.
