Gale Williams Whisenant

December 31, 1969 — February 7, 2017

WARRENVILLE, S.C.-Gale Williams Whisenant, age 76, daughter of the late George W. Williams and the late Eunice Turner Williams, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She is survived by a son, Wes (Wendy) Whisenant and a daughter, Kim (Clint) Anderson both of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Maci Johnson, Kelby Moseley, Merrill Whisenant, Matt Anderson and Cohen Anderson; sisters, Judy Williams and Georgie Lou Koon both of Warrenville, S.C. and an aunt, Betty Coleman of Clearwater, S.C. She was born in Bath, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She retired from Graniteville Company as an Accounting Clerk. She worked for the Voters’ Registration of Aiken County as a Poll Monitor for many years. She was a dedicated longtime member of Stiefeltown Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, with all her heart, and they in turn loved her. She was a very special lady. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 76 years that God granted her on this earth. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Robert Boone officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kelby Moseley and Matt Anderson; also church members, Price Kneece, Emmett Harkins, Darrell Edens, Tommy Padgett, Danny Sanders and Bobby Williams. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral. Memorials may be made to the Stiefeltown Baptist Church, 150 Springwood Loop, Warrenville, S.C. 29851.
