Gloria Jean Snyder

Snyder – Gloria “Jean” Johnson Snyder, age 64, of Aiken SC, crossed through the golden gates into eternity on Saturday December 24th, 2016 at 11:45am after a short battle with cancer. Mrs. Snyder was born in Charleston West Virginia on March 6th, 1952 to Keith Allen and JoAnn Maxine Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ronald Ray Snyder; sons, Robert Ewing, David Christian, Joshua (Roxi) Snyder, and Timothy (Mission) Snyder; Daughter, Christina (Charlie) Sulser; brother, Wes (Tammy) Johnson; sisters, Sandy Wilson, Linda Graley, Pam (Tracy) Cassell, and Karen (Michael) Turley; and grandchildren, Robert Ewing, Jr., Hunter (Naythan) Mullins, Steven Logan Ewing, and Raelyn Ewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith Allen and JoAnn Maxine Moore Johnson; and brothers, John Allen, Gary Wayne, and Charles Ray Johnson. She was married on February 11th, 1978 to Coy Rhodes who passed away in November of 1985. On May 22, 1993 Mrs. Snyder married Ronald Ray Snyder. She is retired from Greg’s Gas Plus as a manager with 15 years of service, and was a member of the Eureka First Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing with her husband Ray. She leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016 at 3:00pm at Eureka First Baptist Church, in Eureka SC with the Pastor John Arthur officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Christian, Logan Ewing, Joshua Snyder, Timothy Snyder, Charlie Sulser, and Rick Perez. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday December 27th, 2016 at the funeral home, from 6 until 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eureka First Baptist Church at 186 Johnston Hwy. Trenton SC, 29847. Napier Funeral Home, Inc 315 Main Street.
