Grace Lee Booth

Ms. Grace Lee Booth, age 92, beloved wife of the late R.L. Booth, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday August 7, 2022.

She is survived by her children, Lillie M. Scott, Noah L. Scott (Margaret), Grover E. Scott, Sr. (Sarah); brother, Olan Williamson; sisters, Shirley Rushton (Nathaniel), Ruth Perdue, Virginia Payton; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Cora L. Payton; son, Johnny Scott; daughter Patsy Scott Jones; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Ms. Booth was employed as a Spinner by the Graniteville Company, where she worked for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched in the 92 precious years that God gave her here on earth.

Pallbearers will be Keith Scott, Johnny Scott, and Glenn Scott.

A funeral service honoring her life and legacy will be held on Thursday August 11, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Moyer officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from 11am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
