Herbert L. Barnes

Herbert L. Barnes, age 85, beloved husband to Mrs. Ann M. Barnes, entered into rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Donna (Danny "Bo") Stewart, Myra Henley; son, John (Kim) Fister; brother, Tom Barnes; grandchildren, Deana Alexander, Robert Smith, Savanna Lowe, and Cheyanne Lowe; great-grandchildren, Stewart (Taylor) Reed, Dawson (Zoey) Reed, Samantha Alexander, and Garret Alexander; and one great-great-grandchild, Teagen Reed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Azzie M. Barnes; brother, Ed Barnes; sister, Dean Simmons; and granddaughter, Amanda Stewart.

A graveside service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Wednesday Morning March 22, 2023, at 11 AM at the Warrenville Cemetery with Rev. Chase Gough officiating. The interment will immediately follow. 

Pallbearers will be: Robert Smith, Stewart Reed, Dawson Reed, Garret Alexander, Chris Glover and Austin Glover. Danny Stewart will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
