Mr. Holley John “Johnny” Nathan Scott, age 72, entered into rest Sunday July 4, 2021.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Holley Nathan Scott and Grace Peyton Booth, Mr. Scott has made Aiken County his home. He was a member of the Aiken County Shrine Club, and the Aiken Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed watching old westerns, telling his children he’s traveled the world via the Travel Channel, fishing, and Gospel music. He was very talented with his hands and an expert carpenter; he could build almost anything with just a picture. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his father; a sister, Patsy Jones; and former spouse, Linda Kay Scott.
He is survived by his mother Grace Peyton Booth; son, Johnny Glenn “Kim” Scott Sr.; daughter, Sherri “Bud” Parker; brothers, Noah Scott and Grover Scott; sister, Lillie Mae Scott; grandchildren Johnny Glenn Scott Jr, Whitney Parker, and Christopher Parker; step grandchildren, Joshua Tindal, and Johnny “Jay” Snow; and 3 great grandchildren.
A Graveside service celebrating his life will be held 11 A.M. Friday July 9, 2021 at Bethany Cemetery in Aiken, South Carolina. Pastor Marion Britton to officiate.
