James O. Cantrell

October 20, 1940 — October 26, 2020

James O. Cantrell, age 80, of Plum Branch, S. C., formerly of Warrenville, S. C., loving husband of Peggy Addy Cantrell and son of the late James E. Cantrell and the late Leana Bentley Cantrell, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 26, 2020. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Danny (Andre) Cantrell and Earl (Katrina) Cantrell; five grandchildren, Danielle (David) Laird, Tiffany Cantrell, Breana Cantrell, Brooke Cantrell and Blake Cantrell; four great grandchildren, Curtis, Skyler, Hunter and Raylan, a favorite nephew, Gene Hughes and his beloved dashhound, Junior that would not mine anyone but him. He was born in Heflin, Alabama but has spent most of his life in South Carolina. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville, S.C. His hobbies included fishing, and he loved to cook for everybody-the more the merrier. He loved his family and his friends with all his heart, and they loved him just as much. He shall be greatly missed by his family and loved ones, but death is not the end. He has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly Home, where all is peace and joy in a land of endless tomorrows. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Linda Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will be private.  Napier Funeral Home 315 Main Street. Graniteville SC, 29829 is in charge of all arrangements. You may sign the guest registry at www.napierfuneralhomeinc.com
