James Earl Russell McCormick

Mr. James Earl Russell McCormick, 50, entered into rest on Thursday October 26, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Earl McCormick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Rachel McCormick; mother, Sandra Patterson; sons, Thomas (Sharra) Oates, William (Chelsea) Walker; daughters, Amanda Walker, Jackie (Spencer) Beylotte; brother, Dondi McCormick; sisters, Stephanie Boyd, Dawn Moir; grandchildren, Kaylee, and Madeline; and several nieces and nephews.

James was an active member of Crossroads Church in Aiken. He worked at MOR PPM, Inc., a job he loved doing. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains, beach and lake, camping and fishing. He also liked to be around at his home. James was a people person and would talk your ears off if you got him going. More than anything he loved his family, especially his granddaughters. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

A Memorial Service, celebrating his life, will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Crossroads Church of Aiken with Pastor Brett Bodiford and Pastor Glenn Davis to officiate.
