James Lamar Waters

Mr. James Lamar Waters, 65, entered into rest on Thursday October 3, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents Virginia and Jimmy Wells; son, Joey Waters; and daughter, Lisa Getford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teri Ann Waters; sons, Matthew (Savanna) Dunkin, Joseph Dunkin; daughters, Sabrina Atwood, Jessica Owens; brother, Donnie Wells; sisters Marilyn Almeda Massingale; Becky Bishop; grandchildren, Ashlee, Lacie, Kelsie, Audrey, Andrea, John, Dillion, Brittany, Chesney, Jamie Lynn, Lawton; and great grandchildren, Angel and Myra.

James was born in Tennessee in 1959. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and watching westerns. More than anything James loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday October 21, 2024 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
