Jane Rowell Nicholson

Jane Rowell Nicholson, age 80, beloved wife of the late Gerald Nicholson, entered into rest on Sunday April 27, 2025 at her home in Aiken, SC.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Rowell Hatcher; son, William Lee Nicholson; granddaughter, Jazzlyn Gantt; cousin, Phillip Hatcher; goddaughters, Teresa Johnson, Tera Davis; special family friend, "Mama" Grace Cullum.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Janie Lee Rowell; sister, Josephine Doering; and brother, James Rowell.

Ms. Nicholson will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched in the 80 precious years she had on this earth.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Aiken for the care provided to Ms. Nicholson.
