BECK-Jerry D. Beck, age 79, of Graniteville, S.C., son of the late James B. Beck and late Lula Mae Williams Beck, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 14, 2016. He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Baker of Graniteville, S.C.; a sister, Barbara Senterfeit of Batesburg, S.C.; grandchildren, Alex (Kristine) Baker, and Paige Baker; great grandchildren, Brenson Baker, Annabelle Baker and Kaia Johnson; his first wife, Geraldine Beck of Graniteville, S.C.; an aunt, Edna Ivey; a special friend and caregiver, Joann Seeby of Aiken, S.C. and several special cousins. He was born in Langley, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Millwright Construction Worker by trade. He also enjoyed grooming people’s yards for many years.He was a US Navy Veteran. He was an avid fisherman. He loved watching Nascar, the Atlanta Braves, and he was a big Carolina Fan. The family would like to extend a “Heartfelt Thank You” to Pepperhill Nursing & Rehab.Center in Aiken, S.C. for the excellent care that they gave their loved one during his stay there.Also, a special “Thank you” to his nurse, Jennifer Johnson and Agape Hospice. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home this Wednesday evening, November 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, Thursday morning, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Doss and Rev. John Yorio officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be Bubba Baker, Mike Cooper, Cody Anderson, Chris Connelly, Ron Lambert and Ross Toole.
