John C. Derrick

Mr. John C. Derrick, age 86, entered into rest on Thursday January 13, 2022.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Lisa) Derrick; grandsons, Jonathan L. (Alicia) Derrick, Justin T. (Amber) Derrick; six great grandchildren; brother, Reginald Derrick; and sisters, Harriett (James) Owens, Ana Martha (S.J) Hall, and Willette (Robert) Youmans.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Betty J. Derrick; and parents, John W. and Vernelle H. Derrick.
Mr. Derrick retired from the Graniteville Company after 43 years of service as the Assistant Plant Manager of the Woodhead Division. He also previously served as a Deacon at his church, Shiloh Baptist Church in Aiken. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A private family graveside service will be held at Aiken Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brandon L. Key to officiate.
