Leoise McDaniel Price

December 31, 1969 — August 25, 2015

PRICE-Eloise McDaniel Price, age 78, of Vaucluse, S.C., widow of the late Leo Price and daughter of the late James Albert McDaniel and the late Susie Mae Helms McDaniel, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She is survived by daughters, Deborah (David Willis) Golatt of Martinez, Ga. and Sheila (David) Craven of Aiken, S.C.; a son, James R. (Shannon Snyder) Hurd of Vaucluse, S.C.; sisters, Charlotte Fairchild of Alabama and Helen Petterson of Texas; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was born in Alabama but has been a resident of the CSRA for over 50 years. During her working years, she was a caregiver for Gracewood State Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Her family stated that she saw good in everybody. The world needs more people like her. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 78 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot erase precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, Ga. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clint Jackson officiating. In honoring her wishes, there will be no formal visitation with the family at the funeral home. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
