Mr. Leonard Wayne Dooley went home to his Lord and Savior Sunday April 10, 2022.
Born in Graniteville, S.C. to the late Zona Ray Dooley and Annie Frances Hancock, Leonard was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a Jack of All Trades, and if he couldn’t fix something no one could. He saw the best in people, and either say good things about them or nothing at all. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a devoted Christian, and licensed minister that loved his God. He was passionate about helping people, he loved children and was a surrogate father to many. He was a devoted husband to his wife, and will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lee Dooley; and sister, Cathy Dooley Monday.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eliza Ann Dooley; daughters, Annette (Margaret Riddle) Spires, and Susan (Robert) Shull; brother, Donnie Ray (Terrie) Dooley; sister, Linda Dooley (Roger) Williamson; grandchildren, Briana Gregory, Tyson Gregory, Jordan (Norinne) Gregory, Brice Gregory, Shelby Powell, Zachery Riddle, and Christopher Perdue; and great grandchildren, Fayetta Powell, Christian Drew, Micah Stanton, and Conor Gregory.
The family will receive friends Saturday April 16, 2022 from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Napier Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Eliza Ann Dooley to help her with funeral expenses and the loss of her husband.
