Leonard Floyd Leake, Jr.

Mr. Leonard F. "Len" Leake, Jr., age 58, beloved husband to Mrs. Leah Thornley Leake, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his step daughters, Lana Swopes (John McQuerry), Lindsey (Kyle) Peterson; step mother, Otelia Leake; step brother, Jesse Leake; step sisters, Andrea (Chris) Harmon, Kimberly (Rod) Rasping; four grandchildren; nephews, Warren Turner (Randi Davenport) and Chevy Smith; an uncle, Ray (Maria) Leake; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard F. Leake, Sr. and Natalie Aherns; son, Adam Leake; and sister, Cindy Turner and Rhonda Brownlee Falls.

Mr. Leake was a career truck driver working for various companies throughout his career. He was a member of OOIDA Trucking Organization. Mr. Leake enjoyed collecting dragons, listening to audio books, watching Star Trek, and working in his rose bed. He also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Bandit and Rebel, as well as helping his friends and neighbors.

At this time no formal service will be scheduled.
