December 31, 1969 — June 25, 2015

CLARK-Ms. Lillian Hooper Clark, age 93, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late James Leonard “Gus” Clark and daughter of the late Arney Mack and Mabel Bates Hooper, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 25, 2015. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Brenda Clark of Graniteville, S.C.; grandchildren, Bret (Sharah) Clark and Mitch (Julie) Clark; great grandchildren, Bailey, Jordyn, Caroline and Mitchell and a number of nieces. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Graniteville Company after 48 years of dedicated service. She also enjoyed working with flowers at Napier’s Florist. She was a member of Graniteville Leisure Years Club. She was a loyal member of Warrenville First Baptist Church. Miss Lillian was a precious lady, mother, grandmother and friend, who just adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family stated she was fondly known to everyone in the family as “Nanny”. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 93 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She has now finished life’s journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ in a place of endless tomorrows, where life and love never ends. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, June 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing will be held at Warrenville First Baptist Church on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Arthur Zawislak and Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be W. H. Kirkland, Phil Napier, Furman Redd, Gerald Britt, Dave Helvy and William Helvy. Memorials, in her honor, may be made to Warrenville First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 325, Warrenville, S.C. 29851.
