Our sweet, feisty, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was called to her heavenly home Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.
Lillian was born, raised, and lived in Joliet, Illinois until 1986. She lived through The Great Depression and World War II. During her youth, she worked as a bookkeeper until her marriage to "Bernie" on May 18th, 1946.
In 1986, Lillian moved to Saint Louis, Missouri to be closer to her immediate family. There, she developed many friendships and a welcomed taste for White Castle hamburgers.
In October 2018, Lillian moved to Aiken, South Carolina. There, she lived in assisted living until her death.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard F. Musich, her parents John and Mary Malnar, her sisters, Helen Bqudek and Mary Jane Pohlers, several nameless infant angels, and "Snowflake", our adopted rattie.
Lillian is survived by her son, Thomas (Dawn) Musich of Aiken, SC; her granddaughters Jennifer (John) Musich-Rehmann, Elizabeth (Grant) Henderson, both of St. Louis, MO and Anna Musich of Dallas, TX; as well as 5 great grandchildren, Isabel and Jack Henderson, and Mira, James, and Viviana Rehmann.
A special family thank you must be extended to the angels that shared the past 6 years with Lillian. These folks were her last closest friends and displayed exceptional love, care, and respect on a daily basis at Barclay House of Aiken, especially: Able, Channel, Tracy, Alexus, Mace, Karen, Courtney, Keira, Lexi, Kim, Navia, and Nicole; and her Trinity Hospice angels: Anne, Lace, and Jasmine.
At Lillian's request, a memorial mass is scheduled for May 3rd, 2025, at 10AM at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO. This memorial mass may be live streamed through St. Justin's website.
In lieu of flowers, contributions or memorials may be made in Lillian's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Napier Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
