Louise Nichols Ready, age 91, beloved wife of the late Cecil W. Ready, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday December 26th, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Ready; grandchild, Lisa Wells; great grandchildren, Stephen Blevins, Mary Wells, Allison Wells and many “fur babies”. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her son, Charles Allen Ready; parents, Noah Allen and Inez Shealy Nichols; two brothers and one sister. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville for over 75 years, and worked in the Gregg Division of Graniteville Company. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched in the 91 precious years that God granted her on this earth. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 11 o’clock am at St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville, with Pastor Barry Antley officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, December 29th, 2017 from 6-8pm at the church. Pallbearers include: Rick Knight, Joel Antley, Gary Bryant, Frank Costello, Chet Balentine, and Zachery Balentine, Ricky Hatcher.
