THOMAS-Mrs. Lynne Franklin Thomas, age 60, of Warrenvillle, S.C., loving wife for 41 years to Robert “Bobby” Thomas, Jr. and daughter of Mary E. Ford Franklin and the late Nolan C. Franklin, entered into rest at Aiken Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side on Monday, October 3, 2016. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by sons, Shane (Karie) Thomas of North Augusta, S.C., Robert W. (Dana) Thomas, III of Beech Island, S.C. and Dustin (Rachel) Thomas of Aiken, S.C.; sisters, Theresa Doolittle, Kathy Franklin and Cindy (Pater) Barton all of Warrenville, S.C.; a brother, Andy Franklin of Warrenville, S.C.; grandchildren, Makayla, Tristan, Cason, Chloe, Robby, Lily, Jonah and Eve. She was born in Augusta, Ga. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Catholic Faith but has been attending Bath First Baptist Church for some time. She was employed by CVS Distribution Center for 21 years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 60 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. She has left her family’s side to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday Evening, October 6th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Herb Sons officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be Keith Cromer, David Cook, Logan Doolittle, Nicholas Barton, DeShon Gartrell and Cullen Cook. The family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to her sister, Cindy Barton, for being by her side during her entire illness. They also wish to thank the employees and Staff of the Third Floor at Aiken Regional Medical Center for the care that they gave to their loved one. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
