Mary Spradley Maroney

MARONEY- Mary L. Spradley Maroney, age 75, of Warrenville, S.C., daughter of the late X. L. Spradley and the late Alafair Maroney Spradley, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She is survived by daughters, Angela Maroney of Gilbert, S.C. and Michelle Roberson of Clearwater, S.C.; sons, Sammy (Shirley) Maroney of Warrenville, S.C., Dickie (Glennette) Maroney of Pelion, S.C. and Robin (Tammie) Maroney of Windsor, S.C.; her twin sister, Martha Jones of Gilbert, S.C.; brothers, Steve Spradley of Batesburg, S.C., Wade and Paul Spradley both of Leesville, S.C. and Lane Spradley of Batesburg, S.C.; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Lexington County, S.C. but lived most of her life in Aiken County,
S.C. She was a retired weaver with the Swint Division of Graniteville Company with over twenty-five years of service. She loved her flowers and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed attending the Chitlin Strut every year. She was of the Baptist Faith. She had a very special love for her children and family. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 75 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clint D. Jackson officiating and her niece, Judy Busbee speaking. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The interment will be private.
