Michael Wayne Harrah

Mr. Michael Wayne Harrah, age 59, entered into rest Tuesday October 12, 2021.

Born in Montgomery, W.V. to the late Calvin and Annalee Harrah, he was the baby boy of his family. Michael made South Carolina his home for the last 48 years. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and West Virginia Mountaineers, and enjoyed playing ball and cards. He was a hard worker, and will be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Calvin Buford Harrah, Eugene Franklin Harrah, and Joseph Andrew Harrah; and sisters, Patricia Ann Harrah, and Gail Sue Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Janice Harrah; sons, Michael Paul Harrah, and Chris Nickoson; daughter, Christy (Christopher) Rooney; brother, Steven Allen Harrah; sisters, Rose Marie (Neal) Donovan, Phyllis Ann Babiak, Brenda Lee (David) Peiron, and Penny Lynn (Patrick Kelley) Johnson; grandchildren, Natalie Nickoson, Christopher Smith, Nicholas Knight, Bentley Kyzer, Austin Youngblood, Kaylee Youngblood, Macy Rooney, Michael Rooney, and Katelyn Rooney; and great granddaughter on the way, Brinleigh Elizabeth Smith.

A Memorial Service Celebrating his life will be held Saturday October 16, 2021 12 P.M. at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, with Chaplain Dexter Lambert to officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
