PORTER-Mrs. Nancy C. Jackson Porter, age 80, of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife for 64 years and five days to Ray F. Porter, Sr. and daughter of the late Edward O. and Lucille Smith Jackson, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2017. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Sheryl (Randy) Wood of Aiken, S.C., Vicki (Robert) Wise of Graniteville, S.C., Cindy (Larry) Taylor of Warrenville, S.C. and Lisa (Larry) Shealy of Graniteville, S.C.; a brother, R. L. Jackson of Mobile, Alabama; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray F. “Frankie” Porter, Jr. and a brother, Wayne Jackson. She was born in Clearwater, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Dibble Rd. in Aiken. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, homemaker, sister, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 80 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Minister Fred Singleton and Minister Randy Wood officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
