KEY- Entered into rest on Monday, May 17, 2010, Mr. Patrick Owen Key, age 67 of Clearwater, S. C., beloved husband of Mary Bearden Key and son of the late Rev. James Walter Key and the late Aleene Ford Key. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law; Patrick L. and Wynnette Key of Graniteville, Robert W. and Lee Key of Bath, Charles E. and Laura Key of North Augusta; brothers, Rev. Charles Key and his wife, Linda of Panama City, Florida, James Key of Martinez, Ga., Wade Key of Savannah, Ga.; sister, Ruth Key of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Owen, Matthew, Haley, Kimberly, Noah and Jeslyn. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy A. Key. He was born in Augusta, Ga. but was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant. He attended Woodridge Baptist Church. His family stated that he was a shopaholic. He loved to clip coupons and shop for bargains. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who adored his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Hasty and Rev. Charles Key officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Matthew Key, Patrick Key, Owen Atkinson, Brian Shirley and Sasha Dombai. The family will receive friends at the son, Charles E. Key’s residence in North Augusta or at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Wednesday, May 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
