Paula Leopard Herndon, age 75, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late Zetra Herndon and daughter of the late P. B. Leopard and the late Roselle Rumley Leopard, entered into eternal rest at Aiken Regional Medical Centers on Friday, November 17, 2017. She is survived by sons, Patrick (Kelly) Herndon of North Augusta, S.C., David (Candy) Herndon and Joseph Herndon both of Bath, S.C.; a brother, Harry Leopard of Tennessee and two grandchildren, Krista (Brett) Spradley and Michael Herndon. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a homemaker and a loving mother who just adored her family. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and working in her flower garden. A woman of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her her family, friends and all whose lives that she touched during the 75 years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly Home where all is joy and peace and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken in that land of endless tomorrows. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM. The interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Trenton, S.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family to help funeral expenses.
