Rev. Samuel Edward Yaun, Sr., age 93, beloved husband of 69 1/2 years to Mrs. Lillie Yaun.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Samuel Yaun, Jr. and companion Sharon Parker, Michael E. Yaun; daughter, Teresa Ann Yaun; grandchildren, Jennifer Huff (Mike), Brent Yaun and companion Jennifer Conover and a grandson that is like a son, Stephen Yaun; great grandchildren, Carson Huff, Cameron Huff, Olivia Yaun; and daughter-in-law, Tina Yaun.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nolton and Cleo B. Yaun; son, Jonathan Yaun; brothers, Dean Yaun, Wyman Yaun; and sister Jackie Panther.
Rev. Yaun loved to read his Bible and preach the Gospel of Christ as he did for many years as a pastor. He is deeply missed by his family and those whose lives he touched, but today he is in the presence of the Lord.
A memorial service honoring his life and legacy will be held on Friday afternoon April 5, 2024 at 3pm at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Doss officiating.
