Robert Lee Derrick Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee Derrick Sr. entered into rest Monday, August 15, 2022.

Born in Aiken, S.C. to Reginald and Cleo Derrick, Robert was a carpenter by trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, and to whittle and carve gifts for his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and could name any mushroom he found. He never met a stranger, and could light up a room with his smile. He loved animals, especially his pets. He loved his family. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon Derrick; brothers, James Edward Derrick, Kenneth Leroy Derrick; and son-in-law, James Seawright.

He is survived by his parents, Reginald and Cleo Derrick; son, Robert Lee Derrick Jr.; daughters, Christy Derrick, Misty Seawright; sister, Donna Wood; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service. Celebrating his life will be held at Full Gospel Redemption Center Thursday 3 P.M., with Pastors Chris Williams and Cindi Randall to officiate.
