Robert Furman Leopard

April 23, 1928 — January 13, 2018

Robert Furman Leopard, age 89, husband to the late Lillian Dillaplane Leopard, entered into rest on Saturday, January 13th, 2018. He is survived by his daughters, Laverne Williams, Beverly Jean Ward; son, Frankie Robert Leopard; brothers, Frank and Harold (Linda) Leopard; sister, Virginia Hughes; and grandson Michael Wayne Jones. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sebell Sizemore Leopard; brother, Jerry Leopard; and sister, Erlene Hamlett. Mr. Leopard was a member of the Gloverville First Baptist Church and was a carpenter for many years. He also loved gardening and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched in the 89 precious years that God granted him on this earth. A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted on Monday, January 15th, 2018 at 2 o’clock pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include the deacons of the church, and Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ladies Homebound Ministries.
