Mr. Robert Edward Sanders went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

Edward served honorably in the United States Navy for 2 years, after which he went on to work for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Augusta for many years. He was a good man and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Pallbearers will be Logan Murray, Gerard Rowe, Jack Sanders, Elliot Sanders, Alan Uhl, and Trey Hays.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Sanders’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Jews for Jesus, or the Golden Harvest Food Bank.
