Ruby "Tina" Gunter Ferrell

Ms. Ruby “Tina” Gunter Ferrell, 72, entered into rest on Thursday November 22, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James N. and Mozelle H. Gunter; and sister, Janice Storey.

She is survived by her children, Joseph “Joey” Wayne Kissiah, Robert “Robby” Daniel (Toni) Kissiah, Erik David (Janice) Riddell, Shannon Riddell Jarvis; brother. Rev. James Gunter, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and dear friend, Ann Harrelson.

Ruby was born and raised in Aiken, S.C., graduated from Aiken High School, and retired from the Georgia State Government after 22 years. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of Alabama football, and watching Jimmie Johnson race in NASCAR. She enjoyed crocheting, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. More than anything she was always a mother first and loved her family dearly. She will be remembered for being loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday November 27, 2024 at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Deloch to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Charles Morris, Austin Kissiah, Nathan Simpson, Alex Hinderson, Alan Morris, and Steven Dixon.
