Sara M. Huff

Mrs. Sara M. Huff, 93, entered into rest on Friday, April 11, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howell W. and Maudie Marchant; brother, H.W. Marchant Jr.; sisters, Violet Greene, Betty Hicks; and nephews Ricky Hicks, and Michael Marchant.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James M. Huff; nephews, H.W. Marchant III, Tommy Marchant, Ron Hicks; nieces, Sherron Boyd, Karen Collier; and many great nieces and great nephews whom she loved dearly.

Sara was born in Graniteville, S.C. and was a lifelong member of Christian Heritage Church. She enjoyed singing, and volunteering her time at the church. She loved her God, her family, and her church family dearly. Mrs. Huff worked for 42 years at Graniteville Company where she was an Inspector/Quality Control. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend.

A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held at Christian Heritage Church on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 3 P.M. with Pastor Jonathan Randall to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Mrs. Huff’s memory be made to the Christian Heritage Children’s Ministry.
