CLEMENTS-Shereld Clements, age 67, of Augusta, Ga., loving husband for 40 years to Linda Kaye Gregory Clements and son of the late Willie Clements and Jessie Mae Overstreet Clements, entered into rest on the Lord’s day, Sunday, September 18, 2016. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Andrew (Erin) Clements of Martinez, Ga.; grandchildren, Alexis and A.T. Clements and Samantha Turner; a great grandson, J. J. Turner. He was preceded in death by siblings, Willie Mae Filyaw and Pat Smith. He was born in Langley, S.C. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith. During his working years, he had 25 years as a Welder for TTX Hamburg Division and 17 years as a Printer for Clearwater Finishing Plant. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed working on Hot rod cars. He loved his family and friends. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched during the 67 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. William “Bill” Tolbert, III officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Brad Metts, Ryan Metts, Moses Mathis, Jason Pinion, Kevin Pond and Bo Mays.
