Ms. Shirley Jean Grover, age 73, beloved wife of the late Walter L. Grover, Jr., entered into rest on Tuesday April 30, 2024.
She is survived by her son, Richard L. Grover; daughters, Mary (Ken) Johnson, Robin (Scott) Hunter; brother, Lane Barfield; sister, Brenda Smith; grandchildren, Brett (Kayla) Johnson, Megan Yalacki, Morgan Hunter; step grandchildren, Cary Cato, Christina Johnson; one great grandchild, Blair Yalacki step great grandchildren, Nathan Cato, Valarie Cato, Zachary Johnson and Bryson Crow; and brother in law, William Owens.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Betty Barfield; and sister, Angie Owens.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Dennis Williams officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening May 3, 2024 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Gresham, Tommy Gresham, Daniel Smith, Elijah Smith, Caleb Smith and Chris Grover.
