Shirley Ann Johnson Jury

Shirley Ann Johnson Jury, age 80, of North Augusta, S.C., wife of the late Charles H. Jury and daughter of the late Charlie Lake Johnson, Sr. and the late Ethel Teems Johnson, answered God’s call and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 20, 2018. She is survived by sons, Rev. Charles H. Jury, Jr. of Blackshear, Ga., Johnny Jury and Paul (Missy) Jury of North Augusta, S.C.; a daughter, Karen (Easa) Al Shamlan of Kuwait; a sister, Geraldine Cannon of Florida; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was born in Bath, S.C. She was proud to tell you that she was of the Pentecostal Faith.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, with all her heart, and they in turn loved her. She was the backbone of many family businesses from decorating centers, florist, family video stores and one of the latest businesses, Jury Pest Services of North Augusta, S.C.  A lady of her caliber shall be greatly missed by her family and many friends and all whose lives she touched during the 80 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the heart of her loved ones.  Death is not the end for her, as she has just taken up residence in her new Heavenly home, where all is joy and peace in a land of endless tomorrows. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. A service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Brad Jay and Pastor Jackie Ray Robinson officiating. The interment will follow at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Beech Island, S.C. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
