Walter E. Cox, Sr.

Mr. Walter E. Cox, Sr, age 73, passed suddenly at his home in Aiken on January 24, 2021.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 49 years, Mrs. Amanda J. Cox; sons, Walter E. Cox, Jr., Jason W. Cox; daughter, Clarine Rachelle (Daniel) Moomey ; sisters, Nancy Misenhiemer, Carolyn Cox; brother, William T. Cox; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Thurmond and Stella Mae Cox.

Mr. Cox proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. He loved bowling and watching NASCAR. His memory will forever be cherished.
