William Charles Maddox

Mr. William Charles Maddox, age 79, entered into rest on Tuesday February 8, 2022.

He is survived by his nephews, Keith Maddox, Charles K. Maddox, Donald J. Maddox, William Renye, III. (Lisa), John Eric Renye (Amy); niece, Stephanie M. Murph; and a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Edward, Sr. and Annie Smith Maddox; brother, John Edward Maddox, Jr.; sisters, Valerie Renye and Karen Davis.

Mr. Maddox worked in the Woodhead Division of Graniteville Company in the mixing room for many years. He loved sports, going to see the Augusta Green Jackets play, and was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. Whenever Mr. Maddox would take a vacation, he always took it to spend time with his family whom he loved dearly. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 12 noon in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment will immediately follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from 10am - 12pm at the funeral home.
